CHAN 2020: TP Mazembe coach Kazembe to handle DR Congo in Cameroon

TP Mazembe coachMihayo Kazembe has been named as the Democratic Republic of Congo head coach for the national team that will take part in the 2020 African Nations Championships.

The DR Congo FA made the announcement on Saturday and now means that Christian Nsengi-Biembe will now focus on his role as the senior men's head coach. Kazembe has been Nsengi-Biembe's assistant. 

Kazembe, a former DR Congo international, has guided TP Mazembe into the last eight of the CAF Champions League.

The Leopards will be seeking their third title when the sixth edition of CHAN kicks off in Cameroon from April 4 to 25.

The draw for the tournament will be on Monday in Yaounde and will be conducted by Cameroon greats Stephen Tataw and Salomon Olembe.
