Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu is eager to get back to full fitness for AIK Stockholm ahead of the start of the Swedish Cup following an injury he picked over the weekend.
Ghanasoccernet reported that Kofi was withdrawn in the 38th minute of the preseason friendly where his side drew 1-1 to Russian outfit Rostov.
The 29-year-old midfielder landed badly on the ground after jumping to win a header against a Rostov player.
He was attended to by the medical staff on the pitch but it was later discovered that he had picked a thigh injury and could be set for the sidelines for a couple of weeks.
AIK will kick-start their Swedish Cup campaign against Jönköpings Södra IF on February 23.
