Champions League quarters and semis to be played in one leg?

The Coronavirus has thrown the football world into a world never seen before, with games being suspended mid-season and competitions being stopped or postponed.

Just recently, the UEFA sat down and decided that some games were to be postponed and some played behind closed doors, depending on the severity of the virus in a region.

But now, the board has decided to call off all games and is now trying to find a way to complete this season.

According to The Mirror, this season's Champions League quarter-finals and semi-finals could be played over one leg at neutral venues, although the same report claims that a toss of a coin could be used to determine which side plays at home.

The Europa League is expected to follow the same pattern should an agreement be reached as UEFA are determined to complete both tournaments despite the virus which has swept across the world.

Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Atalanta, and RB Leipzig all booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League last week, and we now have to wait for the return dates, or communication on what will happen to Manchester City, Real Madrid, Lyon, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Barcelona, and Napoli.
