Former Nigeria coach Bonfrère says Super Eagles team has been defensive under coach Gernot Rohr.
Bonfrere believes Nigeria should be more attacking adding the team has not been playing well under Rohr. The Super Eagles have a number of good players up front who can make its attack more exciting. Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon are among Nigeria's talents and Bonfrere states the team has not been eye-catching under Rohr.
Speaking to Sports Extra, Bonfrere said, "Under the coach (Rohr), the Eagles have not done well."
"There haven’t been any good team tactics or team play despite having in their ranks exciting players. The way Nigeria have played lately is with much defensive tactics and it’s boring to watch, which is not good enough. They haven’t really improved."
The 66-year-old has three months left on his current deal.
