Brazil international Gabriel Magalhaes has emerged as a transfer target for Everton and two other clubs according to L'Equipe via Daily Mercato.
Everton were reportedly linked with Magalhaes who plays for Lille in January 2020 and reports from The Independent claim that the Toffees have been in negotiation talks ahead of a possible move.
The 22-year-old who was also a target for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal (Daily Mail) signed with the Ligue 1 outfit from Brazil Serie A side Avai in 2016 for a fee of £1.5million has gone on to be an outstanding player for Lille this season - 34 appearances across all competitions.
Despite being handed a new deal that sees him remain in France until 2023, Magalhaes still continues to pique the interest of Premier League clubs.
According to L'Equipe, one Italian team and two clubs in England, not excluding Everton have reportedly handed in their bids for the Brazilian youngster.
The report further reported that Magalhaes was on his way to visit the clubs to discuss terms and to eventually make a decision but now his current club Lille have put a halt to that due to rapidly increasing Coronavirus pandemic which has seen all football activities suspended indefinitely.
