Mesut Ozil's agent has suggested the playmaker might extend his stay at Arsenal, despite recent reports linking him with a move away from the club.
The future of the club's number 10 was the subject of debate last summer, and with only 12 months left on his current contract, the topic will not go away any time soon.
According to his agent, the German international is happy at the London club, and Mikel Arteta's presence has changed the situation.
“I think [Mikel] Arteta is a very good manager and he learned from the best coaches in the world. He was on the sidelines with Pep Guardiola for years and I think he knows what he is doing,” Erkut Sogut said as quoted by Goal.
“Ozil is more than happy at the Emirates Stadium. He loves the club, he loves the fans and he loves the city. This is his seventh year as a Gunner and he loves being a part of the Arsenal community. That is his home,"
Ozil has found his way back into the team following time on the bench under coach Unai Emery and has repaid his former teammate's faith with improved performances.
He is the club's highest earner at £350,000-a-week, a figure that will pose a huge challenge for any club that might be willing to hire his services.
Turkish side Fenerbahce and MLS side DC United have shown interest in the former Real Madrid man.
