Arsenal join rapid race to sign AZ Alkmaar striker Myron Boadu

English Premier League side Arsenal are believed to have joined the race to sign teenage sensation Myron Boadu, Football Ghana reported.

Boadu continues to be at the centre of transfer rumours with the teams like C Milan, Ajax, Newcastle, and Bayern Leverkusen registering their interest.

Arsenal are said to be preparing for the exit of Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang with the striker left with one year on his contract.

The Gunners were previously targeting PSV hotshot in Donyell Malen but he proved to have a hefty price tag and now they will look to have a better shot with Boadu.

“I will never forget the moment I got on the plane [to London],” Boadu told Goal.

“I thought: ‘This may be an important day in my life.’ If we had said yes, it would have had far-reaching consequences for our family. It was attractive, but I also got a very good offer from AZ,” he said.
