There will be a midfielder in Kumasi by the name of Emmanuel Sarkdie.
As reported here on Futaa this week, Kotoko signed the central midfielder from lower division side Nkoranza Warriors on a three-year deal.
Chatting to the Ghana Premier League giants’ media, Sarkodie made an effort to describe what the fans can expect from his football on the pitch.
"Some people call me Iniesta, others call me Alonso and others too liken my play to Luka Modric but I see my style of play akin to that of Andres Iniesta," he said.
It is believed that the likes of Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, Legon Cities and Techiman Eleven Wonders all had their eyes on the star before the Porcupine Warriors won the race.
Meanwhile, Kotoko currently lie in fourth place with a game in hand and three points behind leaders Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
