Tottenham Hotspur & Everton have been handed a boost as they look to sign Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have reportedly been handed a much-needed boost in their pursuit of Ghanaian teenager Mohammed Kudus.

According to reports, Kudus who plays for Danish side FC Nordsjaelland can now receive an automatic work permit for him to play in England.

The 19-year-old who has been experiencing a breakthrough season has seen himself attract interest from teams in England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France respectively.

Players without EU passports need to play 75% of matches of their senior national team matches two years before applying for the permit and their country needs to be ranked among the top 50 in the world.

However, U20 players with exceptional talent need just one year of 75% of matches of the senior national team matches of a country among the top 50 in the world, to qualify for an automatic work permit.

This comes as a boost for Spurs and Everton as they will be quick to approach Nordsjaelland in the effort to make an offer for their prized asset.

Kudus has also piqued the interest of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig while Marseille and Lyon as well Inter Milan have been monitoring the teenage sensation.
