Former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has advised his team-mate, Jadon Sancho, against joining Manchester United this summer, as reports keep piling on a supposed move for the forward.
Sancho, who left Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund, has been linked with a move to the Red Devils for a while now, but Can believes the 20-year-old should not even consider the move.
“I see no reason to put United above Dortmund,” Can, who joined BVB from Juventus in January, told Sport Bild.
“Not from a sporting side and not because of appeal.”
“I’d tell him to stay put and let’s play together forever. Jadon has an extra class not a lot of players possess. I noticed that fairly quickly. He’s enormously important for us.”
£120million-rated Sancho remains a top target for United this summer and ESPN claim that United is leading the chase for England winger.
