Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski broke another Bundesliga record as Bayern ran 5-0 winners over Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday evening.
By scoring Bayern’s third goal, Lewandowski has now scored against all the teams in the Bundesliga this season as he targets the European golden boot this season.
Moments before half-time, and with his side already 2-0 up, Lewandowski got his goal by tapping in following a sublime passing move involving Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Müller.
Apart from Lewandowski, Thomas Müller who provided the goal for the Polish striker now has two more assists than any other player across Europe’s top five divisions.
The win means Dortmund who will be at Paderborn on Sunday must win their tie if they are to harbour any ambitions of wrestling the title from their arch-rivals.
