English Championship side Reading FC have extended the stay of Harambee Stars winger Ayub Timbe until the end of the season.
Timba joined the Royals on the last day of January for a six-month loan deal and was expected to leave the club on June 30.
However, the break brought about by Coronavirus meant that the league continued beyond the deadline date and just as many players who had their contracts up by the end of last month, Timbe will stay in England to help his teams until the end of the season.
According to Reading Chronicles, Timbe other teammates in Ovie Ejaria, Matt Miazga, Pele and Lucas Boye have all extended their deals until the end of the prolonged 2019-20 season.
Only Danny Loader turned down the deal, with the young striker leaving the club as a free agent on the last day of June.
Timbe will now hope that he can impress the team so as to secure a permanent deal from Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe.
