Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has urged his teammates to keep on grinding as they aim for the top four spot at the end of the season.
The World Cup winner scored his first goal since April 2019 in another 3-0 win on Thursday night, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side swept aside Aston Villa.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Pogba said: “We’re really pleased with ourselves but we know we have to carry on, we talk before the game and before training that we have to carry on, that’s what Manchester United is.
"It’s a big club, we want to keep the level up always, the performance today and the past few weeks are very good and they are the standard of Manchester United. We have to play as we did now, how we finished the game, we have to carry on like this.
“We didn’t win the Premier League, that’s the goal, obviously we have to keep working, there’s a lot to do."
A Bruno Fernandes penalty and Mason Greenwood's thunderous strike were enough for United at Villa Park; a result that saw them close the gap to fourth-placed Leicester to just one point and two points below third-placed Chelsea FC.
