Egypt youth international Taher Mohamed has officially joined Al Ahly from Arab Contractors in a five-year deal after a lengthy transfer saga.
The 20-year-old attacker had been a subject of a transfer tussle between Al Ahly and Arab Contractors. It is is believed that Arab Contractors were demanding EGP 40 million for his services, with the exact figure yet to be revealed.
The promising youngster put in an impressive performance for Egypt at the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in 2019.
Before injury slowed down his season, Taher had shown a lot of potential by scoring three and assisting six in 17 appearances, averaging a goal involvement every 163 minutes.
