Egyptian star Mohammed Salah has failed to commit his future with Liverpool just days after lifting the Premier League title.
Speaking to La FM Colombia, Salah seemed to surprisingly cast some doubt over his long-term future with the Reds.
When asked about his future, Salah said: “I just want to enjoy today and enjoy the moment. No-one knows the future and what will happen. Let’s see what will happen.
“But at the moment we win the Champions League, we win the Premier League, I’m happy. Let’s see what will happen in the future, but I’m very happy to win and achieve those trophies.”
Salah has been one of the club’s stars performers since moving to Anfield in the summer of 2017 and has formed a formidable partnership with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firminho in Liverpool’s attack.
It would be a huge blow to lose Salah at this time but leaving Anfield won't be a new thing for the club from one of their stars.
In previous seasons, the club faithful has seen the likes of Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho and Xabi Alonso leave when they were at their peak.
