Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake is in Manchester ahead of his move to Manchester City.
Ake travelled to Manchester on Tuesday night according to reports from City Xtra and is staying at the prestigious Lowry Hotel.
According to the portal, City and Bournemouth had already agreed on a fee for the player but the delay in the transfer was due to the Dutch international being away on holiday following the conclusion of the 2019/20 Premier League campaign.
The two clubs had agreed on a fee in the region of £41 million with Chelsea who was believed to be interested in the player failing to match the offer having a had a 72 hour to do so due to a clause in the deal that saw the 25-year-old leave Stamford Bridge in 2017.
Should he sign, Ake will become the second major transfer to be announced by the Pep Guardiola side following the £20.9 million acquisition of winger Ferran Torres from Valencia.
