Sheffield United signs Bournemouth keeper Aaron Ramsdale

Sheffield United have signed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Bournemouth for a fee of £18.5m.

Ramsdale has signed a four-year contract as he returns to Bramall Lane three-and-a-half-years after leaving the Blades to join Bournemouth.

The 22-year-old has been recruited to replace the impressive Dean Henderson who returned to Manchester United following the lapsing of his loan deal at the Blades.

Ramsdale's impressive form was not enough to stop the Cherries from being relegated from the English Premier League at the end of the season leading to the exit of their long-serving manager Eddie Howe.
