Portuguese giants Porto wants more money if they are to allow Manchester United target Alex Telles to leave the club.
Telles has strongly been linked with a move to Old Trafford and despite his contract expiring next season, Porto wants to reap on one of their most prized assets this window.
United are close to getting a deal done for the 27-year-old, having agreed on personal terms but according to Correio de Manha, Porto have raised their transfer demands due to several pre-agreement clauses.
The club owes Galatasaray a sell-on clause of 10 per cent as well as fees to super-agents Jorge Mendes and Pini Zahavi.
To cover the costs, the Portuguese have raised their asking price from £18m to £24.7m with United said to be keen to part ways with just £20 due to the extent of his contract.
On Wednesday, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claimed that United have another option for the position should Porto fail to lower their demands on the player.
Telles will reportedly sign a five-year deal and earn £3.6 million per year if he signs with United.
