Italian side Lazio has confirmed the signing of Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira on a season-long loan.
The Brazilian is not in coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans for the current season, with the arrivals of Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek set pushing him down the pecking order.
The Italians have an option to make the deal permanent for the 23-year-old and will be paying all his wages during the period.
His exit may be the beginning of an exodus of a number of players, as the club seeks to balance the books before the Monday transfer deadline.
Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot, and Sergio Romero are the other players who could be standing by the exit door at the club.
The Reds have only signed Van de Beek in the current transfer window, even though they still are chasing Borussia Dortmund's, Jadon Sancho, and Porto defender Alex Telles.
