Bournemouth reject Torino's bid on deadline day for Josh King

AFC Bournemouth have reportedly reject Serie A side Torino's bid for the services of striker Josh King according to The Athletic reports.

King, who has spent five seasons with Bournemouth since completing the move from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2015 has been eager to leave Vitality Stadium for a new challenge.

The 28-year-old has since registered 50 goals and 17 assists in 171 appearances across all competitions for The Cherries.

Tottenham Hotspur according to the Daily Mail had been linked with a move for the Norway international but no official offers were brought to the table.

Sevilla and Fiorentina were also credited with an interest in the striker despite The Athletic confirming that Torino were the only side to approach the Cherries with a bid which they have now dismissed.

King currently has nine months left on his deal while the club has not opened talks over a new deal.
