German forward Mario Götze is set to join Dutch champions PSV on a two-year deal.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the player snubs a series of offer that included Hertha Berlin to move to PSV.
The 28-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Dortmund in the summer and according to German publication Bild the player is currently undergoing a medical check-in Eindhoven and will sign if the medical tests go well.
After Van Ginkel, PSV are signing also... Mario Götze! Free agent top deal of the day. Agreement to be completed soon, as per @RikElfrink. Götze turned down 2 bids from Italy, 1 from Bundesliga as Bayern turned down days ago the chance of bringing him back. 🔴 #transfers— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) October 6, 2020
