🔢 Kane sets Premier League record with brace against West Ham

Harry Kane has become the first player in almost a decade to record double figures in goal involvements after just the first five games of a Premier League season.

The England captain was in scintillating form as Spurs took a 3-0 lead against West Ham at the Tottenham Stadium, grabbing a brace within that period.

Spurs got off to a perfect start when Kane found Heung-min Son with a beautiful long pass over the defence, and the South Korean beat the keeper with a low drive into the corner.

Kane then doubled Spurs' lead seven minutes later, this time Son providing the assist as they blew the Hammers away.

Spurs' number 10 returned again on the 16th minute to grab his double, heading home a Sergio Reguilon cross for the hosts'  lead.

His goals and an assist took his tally for the season to 12 (five goals, seven assists), beating the previous records set by Manchester United's Wayne Rooney in 2011-12 and Arsenal's Thierry Henry in 2004-05.

His partnership with Son has also been one of the best this season, with the two involved in almost all goals for Spurs.
