Brighton and Hove Albion are set to hand youngster Tariq Lamptey a new bumper deal to wade off his suitors.
The player is said to be attracting interest from some of the big clubs in Europe and Brighton feel that handing him a new deal will scare away other clubs from enquiring for him but even if he is to be bought, they are supposed to get a good profit for the England U-21 defender.
According to The Sun, the 20-year-old of currently earns £14,000-a-week and is likely to get a significant upgrade with three years left on his current deal.
The player was strongly linked with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and with the injury to Alphonso Davies, the German side might come back for the player in January.
