The European FA has named this tumultuous year’s candidates of the most outstanding individual players on the continent.
Bayern Munich duly have a big turn out after a fabulous year of clinching five major titles, the Bundesliga, German Cup, German Super Cup, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup.
Liverpool is another team that has been well-covered with nominations after lifting the most challenging league title in Europe: the English Premier League.
