Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has given an injury update on the trio of Timothy Castagne, James Maddison, and Caglar Söyüncü.
The team will be without defender Jonny Evans who is suspended for their clash against Everton on Wednesday night but there is a chance that Castagne might feature in the tie.
“Cags (Soyuncu) is not quite ready yet. He’s training well and coming along well but he’s just getting confidence back and we don’t want to force that. Hopefully, within the next few weeks, he will be back.
“James (Maddison) should be fine. Timothy we’ll wait to see if we get the go-ahead later. If it’s not for this game, it will be for Tottenham. Ricky (Ricardo Pereira) is still a little bit away.
“We will do what we have done throughout the season. We’ve had players who have been out which has been unfortunate for us, but the players who have been fit and available have been fantastic. We’ll try to find a solution to get through the game,” Rodgers said in his post-match press conference.
Leicester have been hit by an injury crisis in their defensive unit with the club having James Justin, Wesley Fofana, Wes Morgan, Christian Fuchs, and Luke Thomas as the only available defenders.
