Manuel Neuer named Germany's Player of the Year for 2020

Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer has been named Germany's Player of the Year for 2020.

The 34-year-old had an outstanding campaign with the European Champions, leading them to the Bundesliga, DFB Cup, UEFA Champions League, DFL Supercup, and UEFA Supercup titles in an exceptional year.

Neuer garnered 57.8 percent of the total votes, with his Bayern teammate Serge Gnabry coming second, while Borussia Mönchengladbach's Matthias Ginter claimed third.

Neuer also made four appearances for the national team in 2020 due to the coronavirus-enforced break, forcing the EURO2020 tournament to be rescheduled.
