Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has ruled out Harry Winks' exit amid reports linking him with a move away from Spurs.
Winks is linked with a move to Spanish side Valencia who wants to take the midfielder on loan but Mourinho has made it clear the player won't be leaving. However, the Special One is not ruling out the possibility of Gedson Fernandes leaving during the January transfer window.
"What do I have to say to stop with this talk? I told you already. He’s going nowhere. What more do you want me to say? He played the last matches. He didn’t play one when it was a decision to play with other players who are not basically playing many minutes," said Mourinho.
"Tomorrow he is selected again. And if somebody is speaking with other clubs, my advice is - don’t lose your time. Don’t lose your time because he is going nowhere."
On Gedson's future
"If he stays, I am happy. He is a good player. When we need him, we have some quality quickly coming from him. I would like him to stay but we are not selfish and we also think about the player and the father club."
Fernandes is yet to feature for Spurs in the Premier League this season and the north London side has no plans of activating the £40m option to make his loan move permanent.
