Premier League side Arsenal has reached a mutual agreement to terminate Mesut Ozil's contract at the club with immediate effect, David Ornstein reports.
The Germany international was scheduled to earn around £7 million between now and the end of his contract in June. A deal has been reached in principle, however, for early termination.
The 32-year-old has not kicked the ball since last year March and was omitted from the club's Premier League and Europa League squad in the first half of the current season.
