English giants Manchester United have bid farewell to Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo.
As reported here on Futaa early on Wednesday morning, Ighalo published an emotional goodbye that confirmed the loan deal from Shenhai was not to be extended.
Man United have since made the departure official by passing the club’s gratitude to the 31-year-old center forward.

Odion Ighalo has returned to Shanghai Greenland Shenhua after his loan deal with Manchester United came to an end.
"The former Nigeria international joined the Reds on a temporary basis in January 2020, initially until the end of May," United posted on the club's website.

He pulled on the famous red shirt. He scored at in front of a packed Old Trafford. He was the first Nigerian to represent the club.

Meanwhile, United have a chance to regain top position if Ole’s side beat Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
