Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne extended his stay at the Etihad until the summer of 2025. 

De Bruyne has been arguably the best midfielder in the Premier League since completing his move to Manchester City from Wolfsburg for a reported fee of £47 million. His stats show how the Belgian has been 

We take a look at his statistics since becoming a Cityzen;

Since joining City, De Bruyne has made 255 appearances in all competitions, 176 in the Premier League for the club up to date. 


The Belgian has provided 76 assists across those 176 matches, netting 41 goals for City. 

In the Premier League, De Bruyne has registered 20 assists last season, the third season his tally had reached 15 or more. It saw him equal the record for the highest number of assists in a Premier League campaign, matching Thierry Henry.

This season, he has 11 assists in the Premier League so far. 

De Bruyne, who also scored 13 Premier League goals in 2019/20, last season became the first City player to be named the Professional Footballers' Association's men's player of the year.

Before joining Pep Guardiola's side, the 29-yer-old had made three appearances for Chelsea in 2013/14, which included one assist. He played just nine times for the Blues in total.


He has won seven major trophies during his time at the Etihad so far. Two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and four League Cups.
