Rodgers confident Leicester won't slip up again in top-four race

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has vowed to lead his side to a top-four finish this season.

The Foxes missed on a Champions League place on the final day of last season to Manchester United and are currently placed third on the Premier League table.

Ahead of their Monday night clash with Crystal Palace, Rodgers believes that they have all it takes to make it to the Champions League with six games remaining.

“If you think of last year, a lot of the players had never been consistently up there near the top, so it was a great learning experience. We have evolved over the course of the season. It's definitely a different feel this season, but it doesn't make it any easier.

“You've seen the control in the team, the maturity in the team is improving all the time and we are playing at a good level," Rodgers said.

They are currently third on 59 points just a point above fourth-placed Chelsea FC and four above West Ham in the fifth position.
