Manchester United’s talisman, Bruno Fernandes, believes the name Anthony Elanga could become beloved at Old Trafford.
As reported here on Futaa last month, the 19-year-old Elanga signed a new long term contract for United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by his shoulder.
After a sparkling brace and an assist for the U23 on Monday, and many sessions training with the first team, Fernandes has had a good look and feel of the kid.
“He is impressing everyone because he is a really nice kid,” Fernandes told United’s media.
“Quiet, works hard. He is really good on the ball, plays with both feet. So he has a future.
“If he puts his head focused on what he has to do and what he can achieve, I think he has a future with us,” the Portuguese concluded.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are in Rome this evening for a Europa League semi-final battle, where Elanga could get a run after United earned a 6-2 win in the first leg last week.
