West Brom 1-2 Liverpool: Alisson scores last-minute winner to keep the Reds' Champions League hopes alive

Liverpool's Champions League hopes were saved in injury time when goalkeeper Alisson scored the game-winning goal against West Bromwich Albion.

Late in extra time, the goalkeeper went up for a corner. From the set-piece, he rose highest to go past Sam Johnstone and give his team the three points.`

Mohamed Salah had earlier equalized for the visitors after Hal Robson-Kanu had given them the lead. Liverpool is now just one point behind Chelsea in fourth place, and three points behind FA Cup winners Leicester in third place.

With two games left, Liverpool is one point behind fourth-placed Chelsea. With Chelsea and Leicester meeting at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening, a victory in either direction will leave the other team susceptible to Liverpool on the final day of the season.

If Liverpool is to play Champions League football next season, they will most likely need to win their final two games - against Burnley and Crystal Palace - and hope for other results to go their way.
