Manchester City's interest in Jack Grealish is well-known and widely reported. If the Manchester club manages to pull the deal off, it will be one of the two most expensive signatures in Premier League history, the other being the possible move for Tottenham's Harry Kane.
The Athletic earlier reported that Manchester City will not have to choose between Kane or Grealish, that a move for both targets this summer was more likely than unlikely. Now it seems that Pep and his board will have the first of a possible 2 major signings done sooner than initially thought.
Grealish who is only 25 would see himself at Manchester City for the next 5 years and will likely spend the prime of his career in the blue side of Manchester. Pep apparently wants to shake up his already star-studded front line and Grealish would be a great start in doing so.
The defending champions would be making a massive statement by signing one of the best creative midfielders in the world, let alone the Premier League.
