Arsenal is willing to raid Chelsea FC for the services of striker Tammy Abraham.
Abraham is said not to be in the plans of manager Thomas Tuchel and wants to leave Stamford Bridge this summer in search of more playing time.
The Sunday Express says Arsenal is ready to meet Abraham's wage demands to bring the Chelsea forward to the Emirates this summer.
The player is on around £80,000 a week at Chelsea but wants £125,000 - and the Gunners have indicated in talks that they are prepared to offer him that figure.
Chelsea is willing to let the 23-year-old go out on loan this summer with a view to a permanent deal as they clear the decks to fund a £160million bid for Borussia Dortmund's Norway striker Erling Haaland.
Apart from Arsenal, the player has been linked with a move to West Ham and Aston Villa but the £40m price tag placed on the striker by Chelsea is putting bidders off a permanent deal now.
The player feels that with more game time he can force his way to the England squad ahead of the 2020 World Cup after missing a slot in Euros 2020 where his country made it to the final.
