The Tokyo Olympics 2020 men's football is in the knockout phase following the completion of group matches on Wednesday afternoon.
The biggest casualties were France, Germany, and Argentina, who all failed to progress to the next round.
Germany drew 1-1 against Ivory Coast, with France receiving a footballing lesson with a 4-0 drubbing in the hands of hosts Japan.
Argentina, just like Germany, settled for a 1-1 draw against Spain, who narrowly made it to the last eight.
