Leicester City are demanding a sum of £70m for midfielder James Maddison who is said to be attracting interest from Arsenal.
The midfielder is said to be interested in a new challenge and wants to join a club with a big statue and according to Sky Sports, Leicester won't be allowing him to leave for anything short of their valuation.
The 24-year-old is under contract at the King Power until 2024 but his club isn't interested in allowing him to leave this summer as he is considered an important player for them as they try to fight for a Champions League spot this season.
With the price, Arsenal are looking for options with reports emerging on Wednesday that they were keen on having Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard for another loan deal after impressing for them last season where he joined in January.
Madrid are willing to let go of the Norwegian despite the player's desire to prove his worth at the Bernabeu; his contract with the club is set to expire in 2023.
Permanent moves for either player would require hefty transfer fees and it is understood that Arsenal may need player sales to help fund moves in the market.
