European champions Chelsea have announced the departure of Michy Batshuayi to join Turkish giants Besiktas on loan.
The Blues and the Belgian striker first agreed on the signing of a contract extension until 2023, before sealing a temporary move to Besiktas.
"Michy Batshuayi has today extended his contract at Chelsea until 2023 and joined Besiktas on loan for the season," Chelsea's statement said on their website.

Meanwhile, with the recent departures of Olivier Giroud, Armando Broja and Tammy Abraham, Chelsea's remaining striking options are Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and of course Romelu Lukaku.
The Blues will travel to North London to battle Arsenal this weekend.
