Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that defender Alex Telles and striker Anthony Elanga are in his squad for their Cup game against West Ham.
Telles is yet to feature for United this season owing to an injury he picked in the preseason with the manager confirming that Elanga will be involved in the game after missing their weekend win at London Stadium; the side having no new injury concerns.
"We lost nobody on Sunday so it’s the same squad or same pool of players to choose from. We know it’s early on in the season and some players need minutes to get their proper fitness up so I will make a few changes.
"Anthony was terrific in pre-season – his attitude, his enthusiasm, his directness. I love to see players like this. He was disappointed not to travel down to West Ham but he scored for the Under 23s and now he’s ready. He’ll be involved in the squad. Alex (Telles) has worked well and will be in the squad as well," Solskjaer said in his presser.
It will be another opportunity for West Ham to avenge the sad loss they had against United over the weekend in London where they missed a last-minute penalty through captain Mark Noble.
