Gameweek 6 Premier League results & a look at the table

When title contenders Chelsea and Manchester City met early on Saturday, the latter had the chance to send a message to the rest of the league, and it was the latter who did so with a narrow victory at Stamford Bridge - while mayhem reigned elsewhere.

Aston Villa beat Manchester United at Old Trafford when Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty, West Ham beat Leeds late and Everton kept rolling, while Brentford held Liverpool to a 3-3 draw.

On Saturday, Leicester, Burnley, Watford, and Newcastle shared the spoils in their respective games.

Arsenal won a fantastic north London derby on Sunday, and to top it off, Brighton snatched a 95th-minute equalizer to deny bitter rivals Crystal Palace.
