Ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown has praised what he dubs the famous front four of Arsenal’s attacking players.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Emile Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard have earned admiration after their bright attacking performance against Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday where they won 3-1.
According to Keown, Aubameyang, Smith Rowe, Saka and Odegaard have something special going on…
“This is going to be a famous four if they keep playing the way they are, the kids in the team: Smith Rowe, Saka – brilliant. Odegaard’s vision and then Aubameyang in the mood, wanting to make runs off the ball,” he said on BBC Match of the Day.
The former England international added more praise about the second goal:
“A brilliant move, a give and go, Smith Rowe, no one going with him. It’s the same four. He was brilliant today, Aubameyang, but those youngsters around him, the energy. What a finish [from Aubameyang], never in doubt,” Keown concluded.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are now looking ahead to the Premier League away trip to Brighton this weekend.
