English Premier League giants Arsenal could possibly unearth a ‘new Alexis Sanchez.’
According to reports, Arsenal are setting up to hijack Youssef En-Nesyri’s proposed move to West Ham for £36m.
The Gunners are particularly targeting the Sevilla star striker as a replacement for the rumoured departure of Alexandre Lacazette in the January transfer window.
“Spanish outlet La Razon has reported that the Gunners are assembling a swap deal with Sevilla for Youssef En-Nesyri, who has been tipped to emulate the Chilean's success at the Emirates,” Football London reported.
It is believed that Sevilla are keen on getting the services of Lacazette...
“The reports claims that the Spanish side are interested in Lacazette and Arsenal are willing to use the Frenchman as a bargaining tool to win the 24-year-old striker's signature.
“En-Nesyri, who was linked to West Ham over the summer by various reports, scored 18 goals across 38 La Liga appearances last season and has been likened to Sanchez for their similar profiles, qualities and mentality,” the reported added.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s side are preparing for the visit of Crystal Palace to the Emirates this weekend.
