Rashford's camp reportedly unhappy with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Marcus Rashford's camp is furious with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Norwegian advised the striker 'prioritize his football' ahead of Manchester United's Premier League loss to Leicester on Saturday.

Rashford made his long-awaited return from shoulder surgery, which he underwent during England's Euro 2020 campaign in the summer.

After coming off the bench, he had an almost instant impact, rushing through on goal and making it 2-2 at the King Power Stadium with an impressive finish. Despite the fact that United went on to lose 4-2, Rashford's return was encouraging, and he should play again in the Champions League on Wednesday night against Atalanta.

The England international's team, according to The Athletic, is dissatisfied with Solskjaer's advice prior to the defeat that he should concentrate on football.

Rashford, who has received an MBE and an honorary doctorate from Manchester University, has relentlessly battled against food poverty in the United Kingdom, famously compelling the government to reverse its position on providing free school meals last year.

His work has prompted demands for him to focus on his Manchester United obligations, and his supporters are irritated that Solskjaer has resurrected the stale debate. In his defense, the manager claims that the statements were meant as compliments.

Regardless of motive, many fans are dissatisfied that Solskjaer generated headlines before such a crucial match.

Since stepping up his lobbying in recent months, Rashford has shown little hint of not being totally devoted to the cause at Old Trafford. During the 2020/21 Premier League season, he only missed one game, scoring 11 goals and providing the same amount of assists.

He has played through difficult injuries to help his team in recent seasons, and he has also returned to fitness ahead of schedule on several occasions.
