Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Karim Benzema is fine despite picking up a knock on Wednesday night in their win over Barcelona in the Super Cup semi.
Madrid registered a 3-2 victory over Barcelona to book a final spot in the Spanish Super Cup. Benzema, who netted the second goal for Madrid to force the game into extra time was subbed in extra time but Ancelotti says the Frenchman is fine.
"Karim is fine," said the Los Blancos boss.
"He has had a hit. Now we have time to recover until Sunday," he added.
Benzema's strike against LaLiga rivals means he has scored 17 goals in LaLiga, 23 in 26 games so far this season in all competitions.
The Los Blancos will meet winners between Atletico Madrid or Athletic Club in the Super Cup finals.
