Cameroon came from a goal behind to beat Ethiopia 4-1 to maintain a 100% in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Ethiopia took the lead inside five minutes of play from a quick counterattack after Cameroon lost the possession. The visitors had the ball on the right-wing before Nasir delivered a searching cross to Hotessa Dawa Hottessa who put the ball past Onana.
Four minutes later, Cameroon drew level through Karl Toko Ekambi. Aboubakar unleashed a shot from outside the box and Shanko made a brilliant save, pushing the ball on the right where Fai sent it back into the box and Ekambi was in the right place to head past Shanko with a lovely header.
In the 33rd minute, Cameroon had the ball into the back of the net but the flag was up. After working the ball well on the left, Ngamaleu received the ball to tap in the ball into the empty net but he was well offside.
Cameroon went close to taking the lead but Ekambi's header from a corner hit the post and Ethiopia cleared to safety.
At the start of the second half, Cameroon took the lead through Vincent Aboubakar who netted his third of the tournament in two appearances. Fai had the ball on the wing before delivering inside the box and Aboubakar rose highest to head home.
Cameroon scored the third and it was a brace for Aboubakar who slid in to turn it home from just a couple of yards.
Ekambi had his second of the match and it was a wonderful finish. He had played in down the left-wing, cuts inside into the box, and took his time before firing it in at the near post.
The Indomitable Lions, who are already through to the knockout stages, lead group A with six points after two games while Cape Verde is second with three. Ethiopia and Burkina Faso are winless having played two and a single game respectively.
