Despite recent rumours, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Eden Hazard would not leave the club during this summer's transfer window.
This season, the Belgium international has failed to make an impact for Los Blancos, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 17 appearances across all competitions.
Newcastle United have been heavily connected with the forward, and Real Madrid were expected to seek to offload him this summer in order to create place for new arrivals.
Ancelotti, though, has stated that the 31-year-old is a part of the club's plans for the 2022-23 season.
"Hazard is in our plans for the next season, I can confirm," Ancelotti told reporters.
Hazard, who has also been linked with a return to Chelsea, came off the bench on Thursday night to score a late winner against Elche in the Copa del Rey's last-16 stage.
The Belgian, who has suffered from injuries during his tenure at the Bernabeu, is also included in the squad for Sunday's La Liga match against Elche.
