Camp Comments:

Baroka’s Wedson Nyirenda
"A cup final is a different stage of football. Sometimes as supporters you’ll be excited but you go out there and find out that the teams are sizing each other up.”

"We've put everything into our plan. We know what to do. I've played so many finals as a player and coach but this one ranks among the best.”

"This is my first season in South Africa as a coach and coming back to Mzansi where I won cups with Kaizer Chiefs is one of my highlights."

“I always use the example of the groom - who’s always the one that makes the function to happen. I always tell the boys to enjoy whatever that they are doing in life, and if they don’t, they should stop it.”

Pirates’ Thembinkosi Lorch
“They deserve respect and that’s what we will give them if we are to achieve our dream of lifting the trophy on Saturday because we know their players have ambitions to lift their first title in the club’s history.”

"When you look at the teams that they defeated along the way‚ you can see this is a team that has earned its place in the final and this is a team that deserves our respect.”

"Like our opponents who want to win their club’s first title‚ a lot of us at Pirates also harbour ambitions of making a mark at this club.”

"We want to be a generation that contributed to this clubs’ illustrious career. It’s been four years since the club and fans have tasted cup success and we want to give it our all this weekend to end the year on a high.”

The match is scheduled for a late afternoon kickoff of 18:00 and supporters around the country who look to catch it on television can find the live broadcast on SS4, SS10 and SABC 1.
