Serie A club FC Torino are reportedly in advanced to talks with English Premier League outfit Chelsea over signing Nigerian star Ola Aina permanently in the January transfer window.

According to reports by Italian media, the sporting director Gianluca Petrachi is said to be willing to exercise a clause in Aina's contract that allows them to sign the defender for ten million euros.

Aina has been tipped as one of the most impressive of the Chelsea players loaned out in the summer transfer window along with Nigerian trio Kenneth Omeruo, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori.

However, the youngster is due to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2018/19 season if the Serie A club decides to not sign him.

In further reports, Torino are hoping that no other clubs come up with other transfer offers despite Chelsea suggesting they have several options in the pipeline for the versatile fullback.

Ola Aina has managed to feature in 12 games for Torino and was introduced as a substitute on four occasions.
