Why are Dutch youngsters wearing jersey number 34?
Dutch youngster Abdelhak Nouri was forced into early retirement after he suffered severe brain damage after collapsing on the pitch in July 2017 during a pre-season match.
Some of his compatriots in the game have been making touching gestures in support of the talented 21-year-old who can no longer play football, but whose condition is now stable. Players like Justin Kluivert and Philip Sandler are just two such players.
Kluivert's announcement was followed up by Man City youngster Philippe Sandler, who came through the Ajax youth ranks with Nouri and Kluivert.

The BBC covered these touching tributes in detail two days ago and it's well worth a read.
