What’s happened since then?
The Buccaneers will be happy to note that the team has gone on a seven-game unbeaten run since the Telkom sorrow. On the opposite side, Bakgaga have endured what can be described as a possible hangover after winning just one game in the last five outings.
This period being a transfer window, both sides have recruited a player each. Pirates adding the much-physical central defender Bulelani Ndengane from Bloemfontein Celtic who’s already made three starting appearances, while Baroka have roped in the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League’s Player of the Year & top goal-scorer Rodwell Chinyengetere.
A win for the Sea Robbers will place them at the top of the table with a two-point cushion, while Bakgaga will jump up from position 14 to 12.
